CKHC Volunteer Policy

Collinsville Kahok Hockey Club is committed to fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment. This policy applies to all activities and operations within our organization.

Volunteer & Parent Participation

CKHC thrives through active family and community involvement. To ensure a positive experience for all participants:

• Parent/Guardian Involvement: A Parent Code of Conduct may be required. In addition, all parents and guardians are expected to support in-game operations such as serving as a penalty box attendant or game announcer.
  
  

• Club Support Opportunities: Volunteers may be invited to serve on committees for planning events, fundraising, and community outreach efforts. This involvement helps keep participation affordable and accessible for all students.
  
  

• SafeSport Compliance: All parents, guardians, directors, coaches, and volunteers must comply with SafeSport reporting requirements and may be required to complete SafeSport training.
  
  

• Background Checks: All directors, coaches, and managers must provide proof of a “cleared” background check as conducted through Missouri Hockey.
  
  

• Player Code of Conduct: Parents and guardians are encouraged to review and understand the Player Code of Conduct to ensure alignment with team expectations and values.
